Who am I?

I'm Avery Keopke, a graphic designer and multi-faceted artist from Shawnee, Kansas. My work contains digital and traditional media which includes printmaking, illustration, photography, and painting.

My background plays a significant role in shaping my artistic voice. I often draw from personal experiences, family history, and themes of identity. These influences have allowed me to create work that is not only visually compelling but also meaningful and rooted in real-life connection.

I attended college at the beautiful Limestone University. Located in the smallest of towns, Gaffney, South Carolina, I was able to learn who I wanted to be as an artist. My professors, classmates, and friends influenced my artistic style and allowed me to grow without limitations. They encouraged me to expand my knowledge in all departments of the arts.

I was also a college athlete! I was apart of the Acrobatics and Tumbling at my university. Working within a team environment helped me understand the importance of culture, intention, and responsibility.

Little things I enjoy are my pets, I have three dogs and two turtles. I also love spending time with my family at any given moment. I LOVE the Chiefs and the Royals, I mean growing up in the KC area, do I really have a choice? Traveling and experiencing new cultures is somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine. A long-term goal of mine is to visit every state in the United States. I have been to about 40 states and still figuring out when is the perfect time to visit the rest!
